AFL League Leaders

I was brought in by the AFL to produce the inaugural season of League Leaders, an interview based podcast exploring the stories of women in the business of sport.

The creative process got off to a great start by having an engaging and empathetic host, Nicole Livingstone, and a list of guests who were all in their own ways prominent within the AFL industry, and willing to share their personal stories.

My job was to advise on concept and structure, conduct pre-interviews in order to assemble a list of questions for Nicole to review, then go ahead with the production of the pod: scheduling, recording and editing. I also developed the opening season stings using licensed music and sound effects from the AFL library.

Good podcasting needs unique stories and strong voices to bring them to life. Thanks to Nicole and the AFL for their collaboration.
