AFL X Colgate: The Bright Side

My time freelancing with the AFL incorporated podcast and video projects. The Bright Side was a branded video series for the AFL and Colgate, spotlighting stories of positivity in the face adversity within the world of AFL football.

Professional athletes can be tricky to work with. Access is tightly controlled, even for a shoot with AFL media, and during an interview media training can sometimes get in the way of an open dialogue. But in this case Adam Treloar was an incredibly open and honest person to sit down with. Accessing the archive of match vision in the bowels of Marvel stadium was another highlight. Negotiating footage of pro sporting events can be a process, so having every highlight at the click of a button was a luxury for post production!
